This site is a place for me to screw around and maybe contribute something to the internets.
Currently, I'm a freelance web developer and software engineer living in Seattle.
In a previous life, I worked at Microsoft on the Virtual Earth and Photosynth teams.
In another previous life I was a PhD student in nuclear Physics at the University of Washington. If prodded I may accidentally pontificate on things like dark matter, the Higgs boson and magnetic monopoles.
I've been in Seattle since 2005. This seems like a long time. I don't know what's in store next. But I have many ideas.
I try to lead a very active life, but I rarely meet my expectaions. When not biking, playing ultimate, doing math, or cooking for friends, I can often be found reading a novel or hanging out with my cat Buster.
